17 from Himachal attended Tablighi Jamaat, says CM

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said 17 people belonging to the state attended a religious congregation of Tablighi Jamaat in Delhi’s Nizamuddin area and they were under 14 days of surveillance in Delhi. So far they have no symptoms of Covid-19, he said. Donations made to PM-CARES Fund eligible for 100% tax deduction

In a move to encourage contributions for the fight against the coronavirus pandemic, the government has decided to make all donations towards the PM-CARES Fund eligible for 100 per cent tax deduction. The decision was part of an ordinance promulgated on Tuesday to put into effect the decisions announced by the Finance Minister last week regarding several compliance and regulatory norms in view of the coronavirus outbreak.
